Friend or friends?

I’ve spent the last few days with my childhood friend in Stockholm.

I started off in Malmö but really felt I wanted to visit Stockholm so here I am, it’s been a nice few days except for a current cold, but it will pass.

Eventually I will visit my grandparents in Jönköping and then go back to Malmö for a job. After that I want to get back to Stockholm again to visit my brother who’s currently in Mexico.

I have no idea what happens after that, we’ll see, I might visit Brazil or stay in Europe for a while. Australia will have to wait, I’m not ready to get back there yet.

What I’ve realised lately is the importance of words, I really want to think beautiful thoughts and speak encouraging words, a little bit of encouragement can do so much with a person.

I came across this say; “if speaking kindly to plants helps them grow, imagine what speaking kindly to humans can do”.

It also made me realise how much words say about a character in a play for instance, as an actress it’s cool to know that the words spoken says everything about the nature of the character.

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.
Luke 6:45 NIV

Really need to become more aware of every spoken word, it’s very difficult. I’m also curious about friendship these days, and what determines a good friendship.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
John 15:12‭-‬13 NKJV
